Mentoring Moments with Art Barter
I’ve been in leadership positions for roughly the last 30 years. Phew! Scary but true. One of the things I’ve discovered is it never seems to get easier. Problems may get resolved more quickly as experience grows, but it’s not necessarily any easier to deliver solutions, especially the ones that involve people — their behaviors and feelings.
One of the things that can be tremendously helpful for any leader is access to a good mentor. Here at SLI, I’m surrounded by people who are wonderful mentors, most especially Art Barter. Art has spent the last 14 years of his career implementing and sustaining servant leadership in his companies and he loves to mentor growing leaders.
Here’s my invitation and challenge to you. Do you have an issue that’s challenging your leadership? Has it become so troubling that it’s the last thing you think of at night and the first thing on your mind when you wake? Don’t be victimized by this problem. Reach out and get some sound advice. Servant Leadership Institute wants to provide you with a forum that will address your challenges and offer some possible solutions to the obstacles you face.
Our next complimentary webinar is called Mentoring Moments with Art Barter. Art will provide a short lesson on servant leadership implementation, answer your questions on leadership topics such as how to confront as a servant leader and share real-life examples of problem-solving as a servant leader. Make plans to join us on Thursday, July 26 at 11 a.m. PDT.
It’s my sincere hope that you’re leading without a care in the world, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a storm on the horizon. Join us and take advantage of Art’s experience. And don’t forget to invite a friend who may be struggling with a leadership issue right now.
